Comprehensive Support for STEM Students with Learning Disability (CS3LD) is a four-year interdisciplinary research project designed to bolster support for undergraduate students with learning disabilities (LD) in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), including the social, behavioral and economic (SBE) sciences. The ultimate goal of the CS3LD research project, funded by the National Science Foundation (HRD-1246587), is to broaden the participation and achievement of post-secondary students with LD in these fields.

To achieve this goal, the CS3LD research team is creating, testing, and refining a multi-level model for supporting the success of undergraduate students with (LD) in the STEM/SBE fields.

Each year of the research project, up to 25 undergraduate students with LD in a STEM/SBE discipline at the University of Florida have the opportunity to participate in CS3LD. These students become Scholars, and are matched by the project team to a graduate student/faculty mentor dyad in the same or similar discipline as them.
